Over all I am disappointed in this refrigerator. The doors slam so hard if you do not hold onto the handle! The dairy bin has no edge on it so the butter falls out in the floor when you open it. The temperature in the door bins bis much warmer than the rest of the refrigerator. Definitely cannot set it on the recommended 37°! My 20-year-old Kenmore cooled and worked much better for a lot less money!

Good layout

I bought this fridge to replace a Subzero that was a side by side for our newly renovated kitchen. Good - layout is very usable and convenient. Easy to see, reach and grab things. Doors have a lot of room. Not so good - Freezer is small, I actually lost freezer space from my side by side since I had the freezer door cubbies. - the left side door has to be open to open the right side drawers in the fridge - very annoying

Slow Ice maker. Great for those with a 2nd machine

I thought this refrigerator a month ago with the hopes for the amount of money it could make enough ice per day to fill the bucket . I was shocked that it takes 3 days for that ice machine I had a rental with a very low end refrigerator freezer where it would produce a full bucket of ice per day A major design flaw is how you turn on and off the ice machine you literally have to pull the bucket out and be a circus contortionist I was told by whirlpool that it is working per design.. 38 cubes per day...that is why low rating for the price.. The room in the refrigerator is ample and with the counter depth and very wide it makes it easy to get food in-and-out. Freezer works well. Very quiet..so of in an open concept room. You will barely hear it

love most of this refigerator

I love the size of this French door refrigerator and the lay out. The main objection to it is that you have to open both doors to access the drawers and the doors slam shut very hard. The freezer is a little small, but overall it's a good refrigerator. It is beautiful in the kitchen!
