As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Where do you get your appliances from?

We have a number of ways we get our products. Our scratch and dent units come directly from the manufacturer. These units have cosmetic damage and are fully functioning . We also sell brand new appliances. These come directly from the manufacturer where we receive them from a local distribution center on Long island. Our Used appliances are older units typically 2-12 years old that have been taken away from someone's home when a new one is being dropped off. Not all appliances have manufacturer date on them so we can not always give an exact date of the age of all of the appliances.

What if I want to return my appliance?

All Sales of our used and scratch and dent appliances are final sale and are sold in the condition it is in when accepted on delivery or picked up from our warehouse. Items that need to be returned, must be returned within 7 days from the date it was purchased and will incur a restocking fee.

If I only need the appliance for a short time, can you buy the same appliance back?

Unfortunately we do not have a buyback program . But if you are done with the appliances and want to sell it, we buy goods in bulk and we would be willing to buy your item back for the cost that we normally buy it for. However, we would determine the buy once we check the appliance.

Do you guarantee your products?

Yes we do. Our used appliances come with a 90 Day Repair or Replace Guarantee. If any issues arise after the purchase of your appliance you can bring it in for repair. If it is unrepairable, we will credit you the amount you paid for the machine to put towards the same type of appliance you've purchased. However, all appliances are sold as is and any cosmetic, missing parts or broken pieces are not replaceable. All repaired/replaced appliances are based on the 90 day from date of purchase, which means that the guarantee does not extend an additional 90 days after repaired or replaced, but remains within the original guarantee of the 90 day.

Can we buy extended guarantees on the used appliances?

Yes!Warranties on used appliances are covered the same as our 90 day repair or replace policy. It will extend the 90 days Guarantee to a full 1 year starting from the date of purchase on the customers invoice to that same day the following year. Depending on the price of the unit and how long you would like to extend your warranty for.

How long have we been open for?

We have been serving communities in Islip, Farmingdale, Hempstead and surrounding areas in Suffolk and Nassau Counties as well as Queens and Brooklyn for the past 10 Years

What is the process the used appliances go through?

How do I know it is working? All of our appliances are tested and inspected prior to being detailed and cleaned. They have major components checked such as fans, thermostats, elements, valves, fuses, pumps, motors, and computer boards.

Do we offer Installation?

Yes we offer Installation . We only offer installation on items that are being delivered by Reds Appliance. We do not do installations on products that aren't purchased from us.

What type of payment do we accept? Cash, no tax?

Unfortunately we can't escape Uncle Sam and tax is just the cost of doing business. We accept cash, debit and credit cards.Currently there is a 3.5% charge to the customer if they use a credit card. Reds Appliances offers 0% financing for several years and/or a 90 day payment option plan from different financing companies that we work with that will only do a light credit check. We also accept all major credit cards.

Do you sell parts?

We do not sell parts. We are more than happy to see if we have a part you may be looking for or help you find it, but we do not stock parts to be resold.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently have 2 ways to have your appliance repaired . You can bring your unit to us and we can have it checked for you at our location for $50 or we can have a technician come to your home for $95 to diagnose and tell you the total cost it would be to repair your unit. If you decide to have your unit repaired the $95 service charge will be credited towards your total repair. Also, if you choose not to have your item repaired once diagnosed by our technician, you will get a $25 credit to be used to purchase a replacement piece on units over $250 and 10% off items under $250.

How much is delivery?

Deliveries range in price depending on what you're buying and how many items you're buying as well as the distance of the delivery. Our delivery price range from $69.95 to $149.95

How far do we deliver?

We deliver to all of Long Island and the 5 boroughs. On specific days we go to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. We deliver to Nassau and Suffolk counties several days during the week depending whether it is going East, Central, South or North of the Island. Deliveries are delivered within 72 hours and some as fast as 24 hours. Almost all of our deliveries are done within 7 days of purchase if the item is in stock.

Do we ship out of state?

We currently do not ship out of state but depending on the order and scenario would be happy to see if we can make adjustments.

Are the prices negotiable?

All of our used appliances are priced according to the condition of the unit and are priced aggressively for a fast sale. But we are happy to see what we can do to accommodate a sale to anyone who may be looking for a deal.

Do we price match?

Yes we do! The greatest convenience you have shopping at Reds Appliance is knowing you'll get the best price on a used or scratch and dent appliance, but we will also beat any other competitor’s price as long as it is comparable to the same appliance/model, etc.
